Local player Kuok Wai 'Will' Cheong was looking to add a second deep run to his tournament resume after an impressive showing at last year's APPT Macau Main Event. Unfortunately he couldn't get past Inwook Choi. Choi opened for 12,500, then called after Cheong re-raised all in for a total of 46,500. Cheong tabled {A-Hearts}
