Chris Back eliminated in 26th Place
Chris Back was all in for his last 15,000 against Casey Kastle and was in the lead holding {A-Diamonds}{K-Diamonds} against Kastle's {A-Hearts}{10-Spades}.

The flop was safe for Back landing {Q-Clubs}{2-Spades}{7-Spades}, however he would be brought to his feet when the {10-Diamonds} peeled on the turn putting Kastle in the lead. No jack or king would fall on the river went it landed the {4-Diamonds} to see Back exit in 26th place.

Susumu Toge opened to 7,000 and with the action on John Dalessandri he moved all in for his last 16,000. Toge made the call holding {10-Spades}{2-Spades} to be up against Dalessandri's {A-Diamonds}{A-Hearts}.

Dalessandri wouldn't see the next hand as Toge made a flush on the turn to send Dalessandri to the rail in 27th place for a US$6,000 payday.

The Bubble Bursts!

Adalberto Orrigo has the dubious distinction of being the bubble boy for the 2009 Asian Poker Tour Philippines Main Event. He allowed himself to be blinded and anted down until he had only 2,500 chips left. He slammed them into the middle from early position and watched as four other people called. They all checked down a board of {3-Hearts} {8-Clubs} {5-Spades} {4-Hearts} {5-Diamonds}. Orrigo could only muster king high, {K-Hearts} {J-Hearts}. The big blind in the hand said "I have a five," and showed {Q-Diamonds} {5-Clubs}. With that, Orrigo left for the rail and all the other players cheered.

The players are now re-drawing for seats. There will be a short break.

Bubble Update

Ivan Tan found a double on the bubble when his {9-?}{9-?} managed to make quads against {5-?}{6-?}.

On the other side, Adalberto Orrigo is nursing his short stack and now sits with only 4,000 chips as the button passes him. He has laid both his blinds down and seems to be waiting for someone else to gamble before he does.

Hyung Stays Alive

Steve Yea opened to 8,000 and was immediately followed by Kim Tae Hyung moving all in from the small blind for 72,000 total.

Yea deliberated for several minutes before making the call and tabled {7-Clubs}{7-Spades} to be in a race against Hyung's {A-Clubs}{Q-Clubs}.

With chants of "Sevens" and "Three-sides" from all corners of the room, a board of {A-Spades}{6-Clubs}{6-Spades}{J-Diamonds}{8-Clubs} was spread out to see Hyung double to 150,000 as Yea slipped to 210,000 in chips.

Scott Surges

We caught the action with the cards tabled with Andrew Scott's {J-Hearts}{J-Diamonds} in a race against Susumu Toge's {A-Hearts}{Q-Diamonds}.

With everyone crowding round they saw the board run out {9-Hearts}{10-Hearts}{7-Spades}{10-Spades}{8-Spades} to see Scott double with a jack-high straight to over 165,000 in chips as Toge slips to under 170,000.
