When we last saw Emad Tahtouh at APPT Sydney, he was sporting a soft cast on one hand, the result of punching a poker table in frustration due to an opponent's rush. His luck is a bit better today. We caught up with him as a big pot was developing against a sole opponent. The board showed {10-Hearts} {K-Diamonds} {7-Hearts} and 3,000 chips were already in the pot. Tahtouh was faced with an all-in bet of 4,200. He called. His opponent showe {A-Diamonds} {A-Clubs}, but Tahtouh turned over a monster draw -- {J-Hearts} {9-Hearts}. The turn {Q-Clubs} was one of Tahtouh's mountain of outs, making him a king-high straight. That left his opponent drawing at the three remaining jacks. None of them hit the river -- it was the {2-Clubs}.

Tahtouh is up to 12,600 in chips.
