The Bubble Has Burst! No, It's a Split

With Nali Kaselias still one of the shortest stacks in the room, he was always going to be involved in an all-in around the bubble. That hand came against Zach Gruneberg. Preflop, Kaselias holding {k-Spades}

flat-called half of his 40,000-chip stack to see a {k-Clubs}

flop.

Of course on the flop he moved his entire stack in and Gruneberg made the call with {2-Clubs}

for a draw to a four-card flush. The {3-Clubs}

turn made that flush for Gruneberg and had Kaselias heading to the rail in disgust, with many in the crowd believing he was drawing dead.

What they didn't see was that Kaselias could split the pot with any club, making a bigger flush on the board than Gruneberg's. That miracle river hit with the {a-Clubs}

and Kaselias had to be summoned back to the table from halfway across the room.

With the split, Kaselias, the 2008 Melbourne Poker Championship Main Event winner, is still in dire straits as we wait for the bubble to burst.
