Haidaris Not Ready for Marriage

If a real life Mrs. Haidaris is out there and reading this, fret not. We're not referring to your husband's marital suitability in that sense of the word; rather, the poker hand king-queen, commonly referred to as a 'marriage,' which is the hand that both crippled and eliminated your would-be husband from the event.

In the first hand, Haidaris opened with a raise to 8,500 from under-the-gun and Daniel Carter was the only caller. The flop came down {4-Clubs}{J-Diamonds}{K-Hearts} and Haidaris check-raised all in on the flop holding {K-Diamonds}{Q-Clubs}. Carter quickly snapped him off with a set of fours, knocking Haidaris down to just 10,000 in chips.

A few moments later, Haidaris found himself all in with king-queen again, this time drawing very slim against Stephen Smith's {A-Hearts}{K-Hearts}. The board filled out {6-Diamonds}{6-Hearts}{6-Clubs}{A-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds} giving Smith a full house and subsequently sealing Haidaris' fate.

Of note, Haidaris was one of our top-ten chip stacks at the start of the day.
