Lisandro's Rivers the Flush

Jeff Lisandro
Jeff Lisandro
On a flop of {A-Clubs}{8-Clubs}{5-Spades}, Jeff Lisandro checked and Chris "Jesus" Ferguson fired 400. Lisandro made the call.

The turn card added the {10-Spades} to the board and Lisandro checked again. Ferguson fired 1,000 and this time Lisandro wasn't check-calling. Instead, he check-raised to 4,250. Ferguson moved all in and Lisandro called.

Lissandro: {J-Clubs}{10-Clubs}{9-Spades}{6-Spades}
Ferguson: {A-Diamonds}{A-Hearts}{6-Clubs}{3-Diamonds}

Ferguson's top set was up against the straight and flush draws of Lisandro.

The river landed with the {4-Spades} and Lisandro hit his spade flush. He increased to 36,000 and Ferguson was stuck using his second-chance card to add another 10,000 to the table.

Ashby Still Climbing

On the flop of {Q-Hearts}{J-Clubs}{4-Spades}, the two blinds were involved with each other. Richard Ashby was in the big blind. After the small blind bet 2,000, Ashby fired 7,000. The small blind moved all in and Ashby called.

Small Blind: {K-Diamonds}{K-Hearts}{10-Hearts}{6-Spades}
Ashby: {Q-Diamonds}{Q-Spades}{J-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}

Ashby's top set was up against his opponent's overpair and straight draw.

The turn was the {J-Spades}, filling up Ashby and then the river was the {J-Hearts}. Ashby's queens full were better than his opponent's jacks full and he increased his stack to 35,000.

Don't Mess With This Burd

Ralph Burd saw a flop of {Q-Spades}{9-Diamonds}{6-Spades} with a lone opponent for 1,550 a piece. The opponent bet the pot on the flop and Burd raised all in. His opponent called.

Burd: {Q-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}{9-Spades}{8-Clubs}
Opponent: {A-Spades}{A-Hearts}{J-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}

Burd's top two pair held up against his opponent's pair of aces after the turn ({3-Spades}) and river ({2-Hearts}) played out. Burd is now up to 14,000 chips.

Brown and Kaczka Chop

Nicholas Faure raised preflop and was called in three spots. Ross Boatman, Harry "UgotaBanana" Kaczka and Andrew "Browndog19" Brown all made the call.

The flop was checked around after the {K-Spades}{Q-Spades}{8-Clubs} fell. The turn added the {5-Clubs} to the board and action checked to Kaczka. He bet 1,250 and Brown called. Faure and Boatman folded.

The river was the {K-Diamonds} and Kaczka bet 1,525. Brown quickly called.

Kaczka revealed his hand and had {A-?}{K-?}{6-?}{3-?} for trip kings with an ace kicker. Brown announced that they were chopping and showed {A-?}{K-?}{7-?}{3-?}. Kaczka though, turned his hand back over so it was face down after laying it face up on the table. The dealer mucked his hand and there was some discussion as to whether or not the players should chop the pot. Brown said that he saw Kaczka's hand and that it was indeed a chop. The floor was called, but then dismissed after the table agreed to just let the players chop it up.
