This is it! The final chance to secure a day 2 birth in Event 1: $1,100 Opening Event at the 2011 Aussie Millions!

A total of 286 sat at the felt yesterday for day 1b of this event, and after 12 grueling levels 42 remained, while 244 were sent home licking their wounds but with the ability to come back today and try it all again. That brings the total to 580 entries over the last few days, with today set to make that number soar!

The action will kick off today at 12:30 EST, with this day of the tournament historically drawing the most numbers as the weekend warriors come out to play, more players role into Melbourne and those who fell by the wayside in the last few days have another try at making day two.

Some players who have so far tried and failed to progress in this event include Annette Obrestad, James Akenhead, Maria Ho and Tony Dunst and as such they are expected to make another appearance today to take their final shot!

With the sun finally shining in Melbourne, players arriving by the droves and no chance to re-enter in this event, expect today’s action to be the most exciting and intense of the tournament series so far. We will again be at Crown Casino to catch every three-bet, four-bet and five-bet, so be sure to stay tuned to our PokerNews Live Reporting Team to catch all the action unfold!
