Andrew Pantling just won a big stud pot with rolled up aces. Significant because he said it's the first time he's ever had them - either a tell that he's not a stud specialist or a pretty believable level.

Omaha Hi/Lo
We came to the table to see Richard Ashby all-in with a chance to quadruple his stack against Andy Bloch, Mike Watson and David Bach.
The flop was showing

when Ashby would be allin and have to watch as raises and re-raises were thrown out between all three other players on the
turn and the river turning over
.
When the dust settled Bloch would take the high with his

, while the Low would be chopped between Bach with

and Watson with

.
Ashby's hand had no chance against the table and were sent into the muck as he made his way to the rail.
The table with Mel Judah, Eli Elezra, and Andrew Pantling are having a great time of it. The three of them just ordered glasses of wine, Eli had a salad delivered tableside, and they're all chatting amicably. Maya Geller (Patrik Antonius' wife) just walked by, and Elezra called her over to ask about how Patrik is doing. Since he's crushing the Main, she was only too happy to tell them.
Hold'em
David Paul Steike found himself all in and in very bad shape moments after returning from break. His last chips went in on the turn of a board reading

. Steike held
and was up against Richard Ashby's
. That meant Steike was drawing to four chop outs. The river was the
instead of a seven, and Steike took his leave of the table.
Ashby didn't hold on to Steike's chips very long. He lost them in a pot to Derek Cheung on the next hand.
David Oppenheim and Keith Gipson have joined the casualty list both having relatively short stacks in front of them for much of the early afternoon.
The tables will now play 6-handed, with the game changing after every six hands.
Pot Limit Omaha
Another player has hit the rail, with the elimination coming on the last hand before the break.
Bruno Portaro Raised to 1,200 from late position and Justin Smith popped it to 3,800 and recieved the call.
The flop turned over

and Portaro led for pot. Smith made the re-pot and Portaro would call off his remaining chips.
Portaro:

Smith:

Smith's huge draw and flopped straight would be too good as the turn came the
and the river the
, no help for Portaro, sending him home.
The players are back and ready to play.
For your information, the next break will be the dinner break at 8 p.m AEST.
