Seri Doubles Through Kostritsyn

Level 5 : 200/400, 50 ante

After one player limped in for 400 from middle position, 2008 Aussie Millions champion Alexander Kostritsyn raised to 2,000. Billy Seri was in the big blind and moved all in for 4,625. The limped folded and Kostritsyn made the call. Kostritsyn held the {Q-Clubs}{J-Clubs} and Seri the {A-Hearts}{10-Hearts}.

For a moment, Kostritsyn picked up the lead after the {Q-Diamonds}{8-Hearts}{8-Diamonds} flop, but the {A-Spades} on the turn gave Seri back the lead. The {2-Spades} on the river ended things and Seri earned the double. Kostritsyn dropped back to 64,000 in chips.

Weisner Slips

Level 4 : 150/300, 25 ante

Weisner: {Q-Spades}{Q-Diamonds}
Opponent: {9-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}
