Dorfman Flushed with Success

Level 22 : 12,000/24,000, 4,000 ante
Randy Dorfman
Randy Dorfman

Randy Dorfman limped in and David Gorr bumped it to 54,000 next to speak. Patrik Antonius made the call from the big blind, along with Dorfman, to see the {3-Hearts}{4-Clubs}{5-Clubs} flop fall.

Gorr fired out a continuation-bet of 130,000 as both players made the call to see the {7-Hearts} land on the turn.

On this street, Antonius took the lead by sliding in a bet of 325,000 to put Dorfman in the tank for several minutes before he made the call, along with Gorr as the pot was brewing at over 1,500,000.

As the river landed the {A-Clubs}, the action was checked round to see Antonius announce straight before Dorfman tabled his {J-Clubs}{10-Clubs} for a flush. Antonius mucked, but Gorr flashed his {3-Clubs}{3-Diamonds} for a flopped set.

As Antonius slips to 1,200,000 and Gorr to 2,000,000, Dorfman climbs to 3,550,000 in chips.

Rossiter Fires Flop, Turn and River

Level 22 : 12,000/24,000, 4,000 ante

From under the gun, Patrik Antonius raised to 55,000. Jeff Rossiter called from the next seat and David Gorr came along as well. Everyone else folded.

The flop came down {Q-Spades}{9-Diamonds}{6-Clubs} and Antonius checked despite his preflop aggression. Rossiter fired out a bet of 85,000 and that prompted a fold from Gorr. Antonius made the call.

Fourth street saw the {7-Hearts} added to the board and Antonius checked. Rossiter bet again, this time for 190,000. Antonius stuck right with him and made the call.

The river completed the board with the {A-Diamonds} and Antonius checked for a third time. Rossiter went right to his chips and stacked them up neatly before moving them all in. He was all in for 455,000 and Antonius folded.

Razavi's Five-Bet Success

Level 22 : 12,000/24,000, 4,000 ante
Sam Razavi
Sam Razavi

Randy Dorfman opened for a 48,000-chip min-raise on the button only to have Sam Razavi three-bet the big blind to 151,000.

Dorfman paused for a few moments before making it 273,000 total to put Razavi in the tank for nearly three minutes before asking to have the pot spread.

Once that was done, Razavi shipped it all in for 1,022,000 total - a further 871,000 more to Dorfman.

For the first time (that this blogger can remember), Dorfman removed his glasses to try and reach a decision of what to do. As he rested his head in his hands for a further minute, Dorfman eventually released his hand to slip to 2,680,000 as Razavi climbs to 1,310,000 in chips.

Moorman Not Scared of Antonius

Level 22 : 12,000/24,000, 4,000 ante

On the flop of {6-Diamonds}{4-Clubs}{2-Hearts}, Chris Moorman bet 95,000 and Patrik Antonius raised to 250,000. Moorman tanked while Antonius sat as still as a statue. After a minute in the tank, Moorman asked how much more it was and the dealer told him it was 155,000 more. He then tanked for a bit more.

More time went by and Moorman began counting out his chips with the raise amount separate. He then raised to 425,000. Antonius gave it up and Moorman's cheering section let out a roar as he raked the pot.

Dorfman's Tens Are Good

Level 22 : 12,000/24,000, 4,000 ante

From the cutoff seat, James Keys raised to 76,000. Randy Dorfman called from the big blind and the flop came down {Q-Hearts}{5-Diamonds}{3-Hearts}. Dorfman checked and Keys bet 95,000. Dorfman made the call.

The turn brought the {5-Spades} and both players checked to see the {Q-Clubs} fall on the river. Both checked again.

Keys held the {8-Hearts}{6-Hearts} and lost to Dorfman's {10-Clubs}{10-Spades}.

Moorman Forces Dorfman to Fold

Level 22 : 12,000/24,000, 4,000 ante

Randy Dorfman made it 48,000 to go with David Gorr calling next to speak.

With the action on Chris Moorman, he took his time deliberating before sliding in his 792,000-chip stack.

"Wow!" uttered Dorfman.

"Why you shoving thirty big blinds in position?" asked Dorfman without directing his question towards Moorman.

"Do I want to race with you? That is the question. I shouldn't be talking. I apologize." continued Dorfman as he looked down at his stack numerous times before folding.

Gorr's cards quickly hit the muck also as Moorman moved to just over 900,000 in chips.

Moorman's Got His Skirt On

Level 22 : 12,000/24,000, 4,000 ante

Chris Moorman raised from under the gun to 54,000. Randy Dorfman called from the cutoff and David Gorr called on the button. Everyone else folded and the flop came down {8-Clubs}{6-Hearts}{3-Hearts}.

Action checked around on the flop to see the {J-Diamonds} fall on the turn. Action checked around again and the turn brought the {2-Diamonds}. Action checked around once more.

The dealer informed Moorman that he was the last to raise and must show first. Moorman simply mucked his hand. Dorfman tabled {K-}{Q-} and then Gorr mucked as well. King-queen high was the winner for Dorfman.

"What the hell were you doing?" Dorfman said with a smile to Moorman. "You put your skirt on or something?"
