Cajelais Doubles Again!

Level 7 : 1,000/2,000, 200 ante

Eli Elezra raised it up to 5,000 and Erik Cajelais moved all in. Elezra made the call, and showed {k-Spades}{q-Spades} {a-Hearts}{j-Clubs}. Cajelais had {a-Hearts}{j-Clubs}.

The flop came {3-Hearts}{k-Hearts}{4-Spades}, putting Elezra in the lead, but it would be short lived as the {a-Clubs} hit the turn. The river was the {10-Spades} and Cajelais doubled up to over 50,000.

Howard Lederer commented "nice comeback," and Cajelais responded "not there yet."

Cajelais Loves The Ladies; Quads Up

Level 7 : 1,000/2,000, 200 ante

Erik Cajelais moved all-in for his last 7,700 and Howard Lederer looked him up. Howard flipped over {a-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}, and when he saw the pocket queens of Cajelais, he said "you're not supposed to be that good in that spot."

The {6-Diamonds}{q-Spades}{8-Diamonds}{q-Clubs}{8-Spades} board was fairly good for Cajelais, giving him quads. Cajelais is up over 15,000 now, but still in the danger zone.

Another One for Eli

Level 7 : 1,000/2,000, 200 ante

On the very next hand, with the board reading {3-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}{k-Spades}, Peter Jetten bet 6,500. Elezra wasted very little time making the call. The river was the {k-Hearts}, and Elezra slid out about 15,000. Jetten quickly called, Elezra turned over {k-Diamonds}{10-Spades}, and Jetten mucked, allowing the chips to be shipped over to our chip leader, Mr. Elezra.

Clash of the Leaders

Level 7 : 1,000/2,000, 200 ante

Peter Jetten raised it up to 5,000 and Eli Elezra re-raised making it 11,000. Action folded back to Jetten, who pondered his action for quite some time before making the call.

The flop came {2-Spades}{7-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds} and Elezra fired out 18,000, allowing the chips to domino themselves to the felt. Once again, Jetten didn't not act right away. Instead he studied the board, he studied Elezra, and he studied both chip stacks. Finally he mucked, although he looked like it was making him sick to do so.
