Dwan and Dusted

Level 4 : 500/1,000, 100 ante

Howard Lederer raised to 2,900 and Tom Dwan moved all-in. Lederer quickly made the call and flipped over pocket jacks. He was racing against Dwan who had {a-Spades}{q-Diamonds}.

The flop had Dwan basically drawing dead, coming out {6-Hearts}{6-Spades}{j-Hearts}. The {9-Clubs} on the turn sealed the deal, and the {a-Diamonds} on the river was just salt in Durrrr's wounds as he made his exit from Studio 3.

Lederer is now the chip leader with about 65,000.

Bloch Busto

Level 3 : 400/800, 0 ante

We missed the preflop action, but Andy Bloch and Eli Elezra were all in, Bloch in the lead with pocket kings over the pocket nines of Elezra.

The board was good to start for Bloch coming out {5-Spades}{10-Clubs}{3-Clubs}{5-Diamonds}, but the {9-Spades} crashed on the river giving Elezra the winning full house, and eliminating Bloch from the shootout.

Lederer Doubles Through Marcus; Marcus Doubles Through Dwan

Level 3 : 400/800, 0 ante

Van Marcus raised it up to about 2,100 and Howard Lederer moved all-in for 22,000 from the small blind.

Van Marcus: {10-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}
Howard Lederer: {a-Clubs}{q-Spades}

Board: {q-Hearts}{5-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}{6-Hearts}

The very next handVan Marcus moved all in for his last 4,100 and Tom Dwan called with {5-Spades}{5-Clubs}. Van Marcus held {a-Spades}{q-Spades}, and would need to hit to double up.

Hit he did as the board rolled out {9-Diamonds}{j-Clubs}{2-Clubs}{q-Hearts}{6-Clubs} doubling up Van Marcus to about 8,500.

Lots of Action, Little Result

Level 3 : 400/800, 0 ante

John Juanda raised it up to 2,100. Erik Cajelais and Van Marcus called, before Peter Jetten three-bet to 6,900. Juanda made the fold, and Cajelais counted his stack down, the wheels in his spinning before ultimately deciding he should move all in.

Van Marcus folded, and Peter Jetten quickly made the call.

Peter Jetten: {a-Hearts}{q-Hearts}
Erik Cajelais: {a-Clubs}{q-Diamonds}

The board ran clean, and the two chopped it up.

Threes Are Good... Barely

Level 3 : 400/800, 0 ante

Erik Cajelais tossed out 2,100 from the button, and Peter Jetten sitting in the big blind made the call.

The flop was {8-Spades}{2-Diamonds}{k-Hearts} and Jetten checked to Cajelais who bet 2,800 rather quickly. Jetten made the call.

The turn was the {6-Hearts} and Jetten checked over to Cajelais once again. This time the French-Canadian checked back.

The river was the {q-Clubs} and both players checked. Cajelais turned over {a-Spades}{2-Clubs}, and Jetten two red threes, which barely bested Cajelais.

Don't Check Raise Me!

Level 2 : 300/600, 0 ante

We caught up with the action on the turn of a {j-Hearts}{3-Spades}{k-Clubs}{q-Diamonds} board, where Eli Elezra bet 1,800. Juanda made it 3,900 to go, and Elezra made the call.

The river was the {5-Spades} and John Juanda checked to Elezra who quietly shuffled his chips before betting 5,400. Juanda insta-folded and we're on to the next one.
