Tobias Reinkemeier Eliminated in 8th Place (AU$55,000)

Level 15 : 5,000/10,000, 1,000 ante

The flop, turn, and river ran out {7-Diamonds}{5-Hearts}{3-Clubs}{9-Hearts}{5-Clubs}, and Jacobson's queens held to give him the knockout of Reinkemeier in eighth place. Reinkemeier earned AU$55,000 for his finish.

Seiver's Small Shove Gets a Fold

Level 14 : 4,000/8,000, 1,000 ante

From the button, Scott Seiver raised to 18,000. Martin Jacobson made the call from the big blind, and the flop came down {10-Spades}{10-Hearts}{5-Spades}. Jacobson checked, Seiver bet 20,000, and Jacobson called.

The turn was the {2-Hearts}, and Jacobson led with a sloppy bet of 45,000. Seiver called to see the {J-Hearts} complete the board on the river. Jacobson fired 100,000, although this time he slid his bet out in a neat fashion. Seiver tanked for a little bit and then moved all in for 152,000. Jacobson folded, and Seiver won the pot.

Spindler Bubbles

Level 14 : 4,000/8,000, 1,000 ante

Benny Spindler's comeback run has come to an end, as he has been eliminated as the bubble boy.

From the button, Spindler raised all in for 88,000. Max Altergott called from the big blind with the {K-Spades}{10-Diamonds}. Spindler had the {6-Hearts}{4-Hearts}. The {J-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds} flop put Spindler in the lead with a pair of sixes, but the {Q-Diamonds} on the turn and {9-Spades} on the river landed Altergott with a king-high straight to give him the victory.

With that, the remaining eight players are all in the money and guaranteed at least AU$55,000.
