Gold Coast, Australia's Jason Ross has emerged as the early chip leader as Level 4 comes to a close.
He is the first player past the 50,000-chip mark at Crown today and claims it has been a combination of "good cards and good calls" that have helped him amass the biggest stack in both rooms so far.
Making trip sixes against a player with a big ace and a willingness to get a lot of chips in the middle with it has helped as well.
