Level 14 : 2,000/4,000, 0 ante

Billy "The Croc" Argyros just made headlines over on table 35 along with plenty of laughter coming from his opponents. The two remaining tables have switched into limping mode and no big pots were played yet in the new level. Buck Rabie then raised the pot for most of his chips on {Q-Spades}{5-Hearts}{2-Spades} and enforced folds all around, flashing the {Q-Clubs}.

Rabie's River Luck

Level 13 : 1,500/3,000, 0 ante

Hun Wei Lee raised to 7,000 from the cutoff and Jiajun Luo called from the small blind before Buck Rabie then clicked it to 28,000 with 6,000 behind. Lee folded but Luo called to see a heads-up flop of {5-Clubs}{4-Spades}{2-Hearts}. The rest of the chips went in and Rabie was in rough shape.

Rabie: {A-Spades}{10-Hearts}{4-Hearts}{2-Spades} for fours and deuces
Luo: {A-Hearts}{6-Hearts}{5-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds} for fives and fours

The {9-Diamonds} turn didn't change much, but the {2-Diamonds} river gave Rabie a full house.

Kozlov KO'd

Level 13 : 1,500/3,000, 0 ante

Michael Zowie limped from early position and Martin Kozlov raised to 14,500 from the button before Zowie then raised the pot to put Kozlov at risk for what looked like 40,000. Kozlov called and was at risk of elimination:

Kozlov: {A-Clubs}{Q-Spades}{J-Spades}{5-Clubs}
Zowie: {A-Spades}{A-Diamonds}{9-Spades}{4-Clubs}

The board ran out {K-Diamonds}{K-Clubs}{2-Diamonds}{Q-Hearts}{7-Diamonds} and that was it for Kozlov, who fell just short of the top 12 spots paid.

Laidlaw and Zowie Double

Level 13 : 1,500/3,000, 0 ante

Daniel Laidlaw raised from the button and then four-bet shoved his last 29,600 with the {A-Hearts}{4-Hearts}{3-Spades}{2-Spades}. Hun Wei Lee looked him up from one seat over in the small blind, holding the dominating {K-Hearts}{K-Spades}{10-Clubs}{6-Clubs}. However, Laidlaw got there on a board of {A-Spades}{J-Hearts}{8-Hearts}{9-Spades}{9-Hearts} and doubled.

Over on the other table, Michael Zowie also doubled. The cards of his opponent were already rushed away but Zowie had made quads on the board {Q-Spades}{9-Hearts}{4-Spades}{Q-Diamonds}{J-Spades} with the {Q-Hearts}{Q-Clubs}{K-Clubs}{J-Spades}.
