Patrick Mahoney
Patrick Mahoney

Andrew Hinrichsen has just collected another victim's tournament life.

He got it in with the {2-Clubs}{2-Spades} versus Patrick Mahoney's {a-Clubs}{6-Spades} and held through a {3-Clubs}{8-Clubs}{5-Diamonds}{j-Hearts}{q-Diamonds} board to send Mahoney home ninth.

Play has gone hand-for-hand now as the next player lost will see the field move to a single table of seven.

Hinrichsen Busts Liu

Level 19 : 5,000/10,000, 1,000 ante
Xuan Liu
Xuan Liu

Andrew Hinrichsen has become somewhat of a terminator in this event, having recently eliminated Didier Guerin, and now Xuan Liu.

Hinrichsen raised to 20,000 from the cutoff, and Liu made the call from the big blind. The flop came {j-Diamonds}{k-Diamonds}{4-Spades} and Xuan Liu checked. Hinrichsen fired another 20,000 bets, and Xuan Liu check-raised all-in for 77,000 total. Hinrichsen made the call, opening {q-Spades}{10-Diamonds} for an open ended straight draw. Liu showed {j-Hearts}{9-Clubs} for middle pair of Jacks.

Liu was in the lead, but had to fade a lot of cards in order to win the pot. The turn card was the {6-Diamonds}, giving Hinrichsen even more outs to a diamond flush. The river card fell {9-Hearts}, completing the straight for Hinrichsen and busting Xuan Liu in 11th place (AU$9,685).

Spagnuolo made the call with the {k-Hearts}{10-Hearts} sending Blanch home with the {a-Diamonds}{5-Spades} after a {k-Spades}{6-Spades}{5-Clubs}{9-Hearts}{7-Spades} board paired his best card and B;lanch's worst

Didier Guerin {a-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds}
Andrew Hinrichsen {a-Hearts}{j-Hearts}

The flop came {2-Hearts}{k-Hearts}{6-Diamonds} giving Hinrichson a flush draw. The turn {6-Hearts} completed the flush, and with that - Guerin's tournament life was flushed away.
