Gooden Busts to Balsiger

Level 19 : 6,000/12,000, 2,000 ante

Jacob Balsiger opened to 25,000 and Katie Gooden moved all in for 150,000 from one seat over. Balsiger called with the {7-Clubs}{7-Spades} and Gooden had a flip with {K-Clubs}{Q-Hearts}.

The board ran out {3-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}{J-Spades}{2-Clubs}{J-Clubs} and Gooden was sent to the rail in 19th place, leaving Jessica Dawley as last woman standing, or in this case sitting.

Salter Seasoned

Level 19 : 6,000/12,000, 2,000 ante
Jack Salter
Jack Salter

Jack Salter got it all in with the {6-Clubs}{6-Spades} and was racing for his tournament life against Kevin Andriamahefa's {a-Spades}{k-Hearts}.

The {9-Hearts}{7-Diamonds}{2-Clubs} flop was a good one for Salter, but the {k-Spades} turn, well, not so much. The {5-Clubs} river was not a six and Salter said goodbye.

Wilkerson's Tens are not Enough

Level 18 : 5,000/10,000, 1,000 ante

Noah Novick raised to 23,000 and Dylan Garland moved all in. The action folded around to Dylan Wilkerson in the big blind and he called all in for what looked like 100,000, Novick folded.

Wilkerson: {10-Clubs}{10-Hearts}
Garland: {K-Diamonds}{K-Clubs}

The American found no help on the board {8-Hearts}{3-Clubs}{5-Hearts}{4-Clubs}{2-Diamonds} and joined the rail a few minutes before the upcoming dinner break.

Another Miracle River

Level 18 : 5,000/10,000, 1,000 ante

Andrew Michael has two first names and now twice as many chips as he did ten minutes ago thanks to a miracle river card.

He got it in with the {8-Spades}{8-Diamonds} versus Jacob Balsiger's {a-Diamonds}{a-Clubs} and somehow, someway, made a straight on a {4-Hearts}{5-Clubs}{6-Hearts}{j-Clubs}{7-Diamonds} board to double through.

Gupta Busts to Bardah

Level 18 : 5,000/10,000, 1,000 ante

Game over for Piyush Gupta! The young Australian, who had reached the final table of an Accumulator Event during the 2014 World Series of Poker Asia Pacific, has just been eliminated by Ronnie Bardah. The American had raised to 23,000 and Gupta shoved from one seat over for another 89,000 on top.

Bardah eventually called and flipped over the {9-Clubs}{7-Clubs}, Gupta had two over cards in {A-Diamonds}{K-Spades}.

The flop came {Q-Clubs}{J-Hearts}{8-Clubs} and was as good of a sweat as possible. On the {7-Diamonds} turn, Bardah took the lead and Gupta failed to improve anymore to send him to the rail in 22nd place.

Miracle River Save Novick

Level 18 : 5,000/10,000, 1,000 ante

Noah Novick got his last 100,000 all in with the {6-Hearts}{6-Clubs} versus Bobby Zhang's {a-Spades}{q-Diamonds}.

He stood up from his chair as the board rolled out {2-Diamonds}{2-Spades}{3-Clubs}{q-Clubs} to the turn, making Zhang a bigger pair. However, he sat right back down when the {6-Diamonds} river came down, suddenly saving his tournament life.

Sweat for Lee and Cheung

Level 18 : 5,000/10,000, 1,000 ante

The three-bet shove of Park Yu Cheung for 204,000 was called by Wing Sang Lee and both players tabled equally strong hands in {A-Diamonds}{K-Clubs} and {A-Spades}{K-Diamonds}. The flop {Q-Spades}{3-Spades}{2-Spades} was a huge sweat for Cheung, as he picked up the flush draw. However, both the {Q-Diamonds} turn and {A-Clubs} river bricked.

Garland Pays off Zhang

Level 18 : 5,000/10,000, 1,000 ante

The board was already complete and spread in front of the dealer, reading {10-Hearts}{9-Spades}{9-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}{5-Spades}. Bobby Zhang bet 74,000 into a pot of around double the amount and Dylan Garland reluctantly called. Zhang flipped over {J-Hearts}{9-Diamonds} for a full house, nines over tens, and his opponent tapped the table in defeat.
