Soyza Jams on Voegele

Level 20 : 8,000/16,000, 2,000 ante

Octavian Voegele raised to 25,000 and was called by four opponents to see the flop come {J-Diamonds}{6-Hearts}{K-Spades}. Voegele continued for 55,000 and just Christopher Soyza called before the initial raiser then checked the {A-Diamonds} turn. Soyza bet for 85,000 and was called before then moving all in after the {10-Spades} river.

Voegele had checked to his opponent once again and was seemingly tempted, even asked the dealer for an exact count. The 419,000 were too much for Voegele though, and he elected for the fold five minutes into the new level.

Cheung Takes it on the Turn

Level 19 : 6,000/12,000, 2,000 ante

Dylan Garland opened to 25,000 and picked up five callers including Park Yu Cheung to see the flop {K-Diamonds}{J-Spades}{8-Spades} checked through entirely. On the {A-Clubs} turn, Cheung made it 55,000 to go and the family pot went to him without any further resistance.

Warne Out; Dawley Up

Level 19 : 6,000/12,000, 2,000 ante
Shane Warne
Shane Warne

Aussie cricket legend Shane Warne is out after a massive three-way hand that ended with Jessica Dawley hitting a two outer to skyrocket up the chip counts.

Dawley made it 25,000 under the gun and Warne flatted before Zhang raised it up to 82,000. It folded back to Dawley and she jammed 233,000 with the {10-Spades}{10-Hearts}. Warne snap-shoved for less with the {a-Clubs}{a-Diamonds} and Zhang refused to fold the {a-Hearts}{q-Spades}.

The flop came down {2-Spades}{7-Hearts}{10-Clubs} giving Dawley a set that held through the {9-Clubs} turn and {3-Clubs} river. She's now a threat, Zhang is still stacked and Warne has a bad beat story to tell going out in 16th place.

Silver Busts to Lackovic

Level 19 : 6,000/12,000, 2,000 ante
Max Silver
Max Silver

Max Silver got the remainder of his short stack, around 125,000 chips, into the middle of the table and Nikola Lackovic looked him up. Behind them sat Senthilkumar Subramaniam and he mucked the {5-Spades}{5-Hearts}. "I always flop a set with them," Subramaniam said.

Silver: {A-Hearts}{K-Spades}
Lackovic: {A-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}

The flop {2-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}{K-Clubs} left Silver in need of running cards, but he was drawing dead on the {4-Diamonds} turn already. The dealer then burned and turned the {5-Diamonds} river and the table burst out in laughter, as Subramaniam would have indeed made a set. As for Silver, he was sent to the rail in 17th place for a payday of $A6,385 and can now prepare for the Main Event.

Wing Sang Lee
Wing Sang Lee

Wing Sang Lee threw the last of his chips in with the unlikey {j-Spades}{6-Clubs}.

Noah Novick snap-called with the dominating {a-Diamonds}{6-Spades} and sent the once-mighty Lee home on a {4-Spades}{10-Clubs}{7-Clubs}{k-Spades}{q-Diamonds} run out.

Level 19 : 6,000/12,000, 2,000 ante

Lackovic's Double Leaves Lee Short

Level 19 : 6,000/12,000, 2,000 ante

Kevin Andriamahefa opened to 26,000 and Nikola Lackovic moved all in for 125,000. Wing Sang Lee called for most of his stack, leaving very little chips behind and that got Andriamahefa out of the way.

Lackovic: {9-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}
Lee: {2-Diamonds}{2-Hearts}

The board ran out {5-Clubs}{9-Spades}{K-Spades}{Q-Diamonds}{8-Spades} and the set of nines scooped the pot for Lackovic.

Yu Doubles Through Garland

Level 19 : 6,000/12,000, 2,000 ante

Park Yu Cheung open shipped for 250,000 and Dylan Garland made the call with the {j-Hearts}{j-Diamonds}.

It was a classic race with Cheung on the {a-Spades}{k-Clubs}, doubling through the chip leader on a {k-Spades}{9-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}{8-Hearts}{a-Clubs} board that made Cheung two pair.

Garland's Draw Gets There

Level 19 : 6,000/12,000, 2,000 ante
Dylan Garland
Dylan Garland

A raising war broke out on the {9-Diamonds}{7-Spades}{3-Diamonds}{4-Spades} turn and ultimately, Dylan Garland moved all in for what looked like 250,000 chips.

Former chip leader Wing Sang Lee made the call with {A-Spades}{5-Spades} for the nut flush draw and gutshot straight draw. Garland was sitting on a gutshot as well and had the other flush draw with {10-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds} to spike the {6-Diamonds} on the river for his flush.
