Cheung Wins Bigger Pot

Level 22 : 12,000/24,000, 4,000 ante

Park Yu Cheung was the initial raiser from the cutoff and got called by Christopher Soyza and Ronnie Bardah in the blinds. The trio checked through the flop {7-Diamonds}{K-Hearts}{J-Hearts} before Soyza led for 65,000 on the {J-Diamonds} turn. Bardah called, then Cheung squeezed to 200,000. Only Soyza called before check-folding to the shove of his opponent on the {6-Spades} river.

Balsiger Jams Up His Stack

Level 22 : 12,000/24,000, 4,000 ante

For maybe half a dozen times, Jacob Balsiger has moved all in recently and enforced folds all around. This time it was Senthil Kumar Subramaniam, who mucked after having raised to 50,000. It is only a matter of time though before the former November Niner will be called.

Brown's Shove Gets Through

Level 21 : 10,000/20,000, 3,000 ante

Jason Nicholas Brown raised to 45,000 from early position and folded to the shove of Jacob Balsiger. One hand later, Brown raised to the same amount again and Kevin Andriamahefa defended his big blind. On the flop {K-Spades}{10-Clubs}{7-Spades}, the American check-called a bet of 67,000 and then checked again the {3-Hearts} turn.

Brown shoved and Andriamahefa asked for a count. He took quite some time to make up the mind and eventually called the clock on himself before folding.

Garland Folds to Shove

Level 21 : 10,000/20,000, 3,000 ante

Dylan Garland raised to 40,000 from the button and Jessica Dawley moved all in, the shove went through with the support of Jackie Glazier on the rail. Dawley however remains the shortest stack along with Don Mishra after having to give up a min-raised pot soon after.

Cheung Wins Flip

Level 21 : 10,000/20,000, 3,000 ante

From early position, Park Yu Cheung moved all in for the second hand in a row and this time Jessica Dawley called with the superior stack from one seat over.

Cheung: {A-Diamonds}{K-Clubs}
Dawley: {10-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}

The flop {J-Hearts}{Q-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds} changed nothing whatsoever, but Cheung improved with the {K-Spades} turn. Under different circumstances, Dawley might have been happy to see a ten on the board, but the {10-Hearts} river also completed a straight for Cheung and the American was left short. Dawley shoved twice the next two hands and basically doubled up her stack with the two steals.

Mishra and Michael Short

Level 21 : 10,000/20,000, 3,000 ante

From early position, Andrew Michael moved all in for 155,000 and scooped the blinds and antes.

One hand later, Don Mishra opened to 45,000 and Andriamahefa defended his big blind. The flop {A-Diamonds}{5-Spades}{3-Hearts} saw a check-call from Andriamahefa for 30,000 and both players then checked through the {6-Hearts} turn and {3-Clubs} river. Andriamahefa flipped over {A-Hearts}{3-Spades} for a slow played full house and Mishra laughed about his fortune.

Garland Straightens Out

Level 21 : 10,000/20,000, 3,000 ante

Christopher Soyza made it 40,000 and Dylan Garland shipped it in for 266,000.

Soyza made the call with the {10-Diamonds}{10-Hearts} and looked good to collect another knockout with Garland on the {a-Diamonds}{6-Clubs}. However, Garland found a way to survive without an ace, making a straight on the {5-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds}{7-Spades}{k-Hearts}{4-Diamonds} board

Dawley Survives

Level 21 : 10,000/20,000, 3,000 ante

Jessica Dawley shoved for a little less than 200,000 over a Bobby Zhang 40,000-chip open and Zhang called with the {a-Hearts}{q-Diamonds}.

Dawley's tournament life was riding on the {4-Hearts}{4-Spades} and the {j-Hearts}{5-Hearts}{6-Hearts} flop was a dangerous one for her. However, she managed to fade all trouble on the {k-Spades} turn and {2-Spades} river to double up and leapfrog Zhang.
