Shaikh Busts To Dawley

Level 20 : 6,000/12,000, 2,000 ante

Right after he doubled through Jessica Dawley, Adeel Shaikh was eliminated by his female counterpart.

On the {A-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}{7-Clubs} flop, the two got all the money in with Dawley having the best of it with the {10-Spades}{10-Clubs} to Shaikh's {A-Spades}{Q-Hearts}.

The {Q-Diamonds} on the turn was a bit of a sweat, but the {8-Hearts} on the river couldn't do it for Shaikh, and he was eliminated.

Fan Busts

Level 20 : 6,000/12,000, 2,000 ante

From early position, Terry Fan raised all in for 55,000. John Chu called from the hijack seat, and Jack O'Neill called from the big blind.

O'Neill and Chu then checked the {J-Spades}{3-Spades}{3-Diamonds}{A-Hearts}{3-Clubs} board to the river. That's when O'Neill bet 25,000, and Chu called.

O'Neill showed the {A-Clubs}{J-Clubs} for a full house, and Chu matched him with the {A-Spades}{10-Spades}. Fan had the {K-Clubs}{9-Clubs} and was eliminated.

Aaron Blanch raised from the hijack seat to 25,000, Samantha Abernathy called from the button, and Alex Lee came along from the big blind.

The flop fell {Q-Hearts}{J-Hearts}{7-Hearts}, and Lee checked. Blanch bet 45,000, and Abernathy raised to 325,000 to show she was committed to the hand. Lee folded, as did Blanch, and Abernathy won the pot.

Level 20 : 6,000/12,000, 2,000 ante

Bobby Zhang opened for 28,000 from middle position and was met by an all-in three-bet to 161,000 from Thomas Miller in the cutoff. The button and blinds all folded, and then Zhang snap-called.

Miller: {a-Hearts}{j-Hearts}
Zhang: {a-Clubs}{k-Hearts}

Miller had a big kicker problem, but fortunately for him it got resolved on the {8-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}{j-Spades} flop. Zhang was looking for a king to eliminate his opponent, but it didn't come as the {5-Diamonds} blanked on the turn followed by the {3-Clubs} on the river.

Ko Wins One Without a Showdown

Level 20 : 6,000/12,000, 2,000 ante

Dylan Honeyman opened to 26,000 from middle position and action folded to Yuki Ko in the small blind. He three-bet to 79,000 and Honeyman made the call after the big blind folded.

The flop came {A-Spades}{K-Hearts}{Q-Hearts} and Ko opted to check. Honeyman bet 75,000 and Ko called. Both players checked the {4-Diamonds} on the turn and the {5-Spades} completed the board. Ko bet a mere 72,000 but it was enough as Honeyman folded.

An Ace from Space Saves Sandaev

Level 20 : 6,000/12,000, 2,000 ante

Ari Engel opened for 28,000 from the hijack only to have Xingrong Ren three-bet to 64,000 from the cutoff. When action reached Joseph Sandaev in the small blind, he moved all in for 254,000 and Engel responded by moving all in over the top. Ren folded.

Engel: {k-Hearts}{k-Spades}
Sandaev: {a-Spades}{k-Diamonds}

Sandaev was way behind and in need of some help. His best chance at survival was to catch an ace, and much to Engel's dismay, that's just what he did when the flop came down {a-Clubs}{9-Clubs}{j-Clubs}. Neither the {9-Hearts} turn nor {8-Clubs} river helped Engel reclaim the lead, and Sandaev shipped a double and then some.
