Hands #26-38: Peters Puts the Pressure On

Level 11 : 3,000/6,000, 1,000 ante

Hand #26: Fedor Holz raised to 15,000 on the button with {j-Hearts}{5-Diamonds} and Mike Watson defended his big blind holding {8-Clubs}{5-Clubs}. The flop fell {8-Spades}{k-Spades}{9-Hearts} and Watson checked it over to Holz, who continued for 21,000.

Watson called and the {3-Hearts} landed on the turn. Another check from Watson saw Holz check behind and the {3-Clubs} completed the board. Watson checked it on the end and Holz checked behind before Watson raked the pot.

Hand #27: Sam Trickett raised to 15,000 under the gun holding {a-Diamonds}{q-Spades} and David Peters made the call next to act with {q-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds}. The flop landed {7-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}{6-Hearts} and Trickett continued for 22,000.

Peters opted to move all in and Trickett quickly folded.

Hand #28: Steffen Sontheimer limped in the cutoff with {k-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds} and Nick Petrangelo called in the small blind holding {a-Hearts}{6-Diamonds}. Sam Trickett checked in the big blind holding {k-Hearts}{8-Hearts} and the flop fell {k-Spades}{3-Clubs}{2-Clubs}.

It was checked to Sontheimer and he fired for 8,000. Petrangelo folded, Trickett called and the {4-Hearts} arrived on the turn. The action was checked through and the {3-Hearts} completed the board.

Trickett led out for 18,000 on the end and Sontheimer paid it off with the inferior hand.
