Bucher Gets Wish Granted Before Busting

We arrived in time to see an unhappy Jeff Bucher packing his bag and Dean Blatt stacking up a lot of chips so asked Bucher what had happened.
Bucher told us how he had not seen a set all day before getting what he wished for and then wishing he hadn’t.
Contemplating a Dean Blatt raise Bucher looked down to see pocket threes with the tournament clock reading 13:33 and, seeing this as a sign the Kiwi made the call.
When the auspicious flop fell 
Bucher thought all his prayers had been answered and unsurprisingly all the chips ended up in the middle. Unfortunately for Bucher, Blatt had also flopped a set holding pocket sixes and the case three failed to make an appearance to end Bucher’s Main Event.
