Flush-Over-Flush Double for Hata

Level 3 : 200/400, 300 ante

On a flop of {8-Hearts}{3-Hearts}{6-Hearts} with around 12,700 in the middle, Michael Soyza checked from the small blind to James Romero in the cutoff, and he decided to bet 6,000.

Aymon Hata called on the button before Soyza check-raised all in for over 57,000. Romero folded, but Hata instantly called for his 28,825 in total chips.

Soyza: {5-Hearts}{4-Hearts}
Hata: {A-Hearts}{7-Hearts}

Both players had flopped a flush, and when the turn and river landed the {4-Spades} and {7-Diamonds}, Hata doubled through.

Ace-High Good Enough for Nemeth

Level 3 : 200/400, 300 ante

The button opened to 1,000 and Andras Nemeth three-bet to 3,600 from the small blind. Julien Martini cold four-bet to 8,000 from the big blind and Nemeth was the only caller.

The flop came {3-Diamonds}{2-Hearts}{9-Clubs} and Nemeth check-called 6,000. The turn was the {6-Spades} and again Nemeth check-called, this time for 9,200.

The river was the {10-Spades} and both players checked. Nemeth turned over {a-Diamonds}{q-Diamonds} for just ace-high but Martini nodded, checked his cards and mucked.

Jiang Bets Big on River Against Pupillo

Level 3 : 200/400, 300 ante

Following a raise to 900, Nick Pupillo called next to act in the cutoff before Sosia Jiang three-bet the button to 3,200.

Action folded back to the initial raiser, and he folded while Pupillo called.

The flop landed {4-Diamonds}{A-Hearts}{2-Spades} and Pupillo checked to Jiang who continued for 2,000. Pupillo responded with a check-raise to 6,800 and Jiang called.

The turn of the {5-Clubs} checked through to reveal the {2-Clubs} on the river. Pupillo checked, Jiang tossed in a 25,000-denomination chip and Pupillo folded.

Romero Fills Up on Burns

Level 3 : 200/400, 300 ante

On a board of {8-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}{J-Spades}{3-Spades}{J-Clubs} with roughly 6,000 in the middle, James Romero checked from the big blind over to Kahle Burns on the button.

Burns deliberated for a few moments, and then checked behind tabling his {10-Spades}{5-Spades}.

Romero sheepishly revealed his {J-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds} for a full house, and then collected the pot.

The final board read {Q-Clubs}{6-Hearts}{A-Spades}{5-Clubs}{K-Hearts} and Shane Warne had committed the last of his chips holding {A-Clubs}{6-Clubs}.

Unfortunately for the "King of Spin", Bart Lybaert had him pipped when he tabled his {Q-Diamonds}{Q-Hearts} for a flopped set to send Warne to the rail.

Warwick Mirzikinian

Danny Tang opened to 800 and got one caller. Warwick Mirzikinian was in the big blind and three-bet all in for 15,800. Tang thought before calling, with the other player quickly folding.

Danny Tang: {q-Clubs}{q-Spades}
Warwick Mirzikinian: {k-Spades}{q-Hearts}

Mirzikinian flopped a straight draw on the {8-Clubs}{j-Diamonds}{10-Spades} flop, but the {7-Clubs}{8-Diamonds} run out ensured the pot headed Tang's way.

Kenney First Elimination After House Over House

Level 2 : 150/300, 150 ante

Adam Hui opened and got three callers including Bryn Kenney. THe flop came {5-}{5-}{2-}. It checked to Hui who continued. He got one caller before Kenney check-raised. Hui called.

The turn was a {k-}. Kenney bet and Hui called.

The river was a {q-}. Kenney bet again and Hui raised enough to put Kenney all in, who called. Hui showed {k-}{5-} for a full house, with Kenney showing {2-}{2-} - also for a full house - but it wasn't good enough as he was eliminated from the A$25,000 Challenge.

He immediately re-entered.
