Martini Takes on Young

Level 9 : 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante

Julien Martini raised to 4,500 from under the gun and was called by Hideki Izutsu in the cutoff and Rory Young in the small blind.

All three players checked the {q-Spades}{5-Spades}{a-Hearts} flop followed by the {4-Clubs} on the turn.

The {2-Spades} completed the board and Young paused before betting out 13,000. Martini stared at Young for a moment before making the call. Izutsu mucked his hand almost immediately.

Young then tabled {9-Clubs}{8-Clubs} for nine-high. Martini flipped over {10-Clubs}{10-Spades} and took down the pot with a pair.

Izutsu Takes Chip Lead, Burns Uses All His Time

Level 9 : 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante
Hideki Izutsu
Hideki Izutsu

Dominik Nitsche opened to 4,500 from the cutoff and Kahle Burns called on the button, as did Michael Soyza in the small blind.

From the big blind, Hideki Izutsu three-bet to 30,000, and after Nitsche folded, Burns called and Soyza mucked.

The flop landed {J-Hearts}{4-Clubs}{3-Spades} and Izutsu checked over to Burns who bet 23,500. Izutsu quickly check-raised to 50,000 and Burns called as the {7-Spades} landed on the turn.

Izutsu looked at the dealer and announced he was all in.

Burns instantly asked for a count, and once the dealer broke it down, Izutsu's all-in bet was for 208,600 total.

Burns began to deliberate, and as his initial 30 seconds was set to expire, he flicked in a time extension button.

As that additional minute counted down to expiry, he tossed in his final time extension button.

"Five, four, three, two," counted down the dealer before Burns folded.

Izutsu dragged in the pot and claimed the chip lead off Burns.

Addamo's River Call Halts Ho

Level 9 : 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante

The turn brought the {4-Clubs} and Addamo checked again. Ho fired 8,500. Addamo called.

The {10-Hearts} completed the board and Addamo checked for a third time. Ho used up all her allocated time before betting 19,500. Addamo then went into the tank, and even used a time-extension, before making the call.

Ho reluctantly tabled {a-Hearts}{7-Hearts} for ace-high before Addamo revealed {k-Spades}{8-Hearts} for a pair of kings and the winning hand.
