Hand #29: Bryn Kenney opened to 135,000 from under the gun with {q-Spades}{q-Diamonds} and Matthew Wakeman defended his big blind with {4-Hearts}{3-Hearts}.

The flop {a-Spades}{5-Clubs}{5-Diamonds} gave Wakeman a gutshot straight draw and both players checked. The turn was the {8-Clubs} and Wakeman bet 325,000. Kenney folded.

Hand #30: Mike Del Vecchio raised to 135,000 in the hijack with {4-Hearts}{4-Clubs} and took down the pot.

Hand #31: It folded to Bryn Kenney in the small blind who limped with {q-Diamonds}{9-Clubs} and Clinton Taylor check {4-Spades}{6-Spades} in the big blind.

"Let's dance," said Taylor.

"Nice and friendly," replied Kenney.

The flop came {j-Spades}{9-Diamonds}{2-Spades}. Kenney checked. "Let's see how friendly you are," said Taylor before betting 105,000. Kenney called and the pair checked the {7-Clubs} turn.

The river was the {5-Hearts} and Taylor folded to a bet of 135,000 from Kenney.

Hand #32: Gyeong Byeong Lee opened {q-Hearts}{9-Diamonds} from the hijack to 140,000. Bryn Kenney was on the button with {a-Clubs}{j-Spades} and three-bet all in for 1,290,000. Lee folded.

Hand #33: Mike Del Vecchio limped {5-Hearts}{6-Hearts} in the small blind and Andrew Hinrichsen raised to 220,000 in the big blind with {a-Clubs}{k-Spades}. Del Vecchio then re-raised to 620,000. Hinrichsen moved all in and Del Vecchio snap-folded.

Bryn Kenney and Clinton Taylor
Bryn Kenney and Clinton Taylor

Hand #24: Andrew Hinrichsen opened from the cutoff to 180,000 with {a-Diamonds}{10-Spades} and took down the pot.

Hand #25: Mike Del Vecchio raised to 135,000 first to act with the {A-Clubs}{2-Clubs} and Bryn Kenney in the small blind jammed for 605,000 with the {A-Hearts}{J-Spades}, Del Vecchio called.

Kenney flopped top two pair onb {A-Spades}{J-Clubs}{5-Spades}, but Del vecchio picked up some outs with the {3-Spades} turn. The {7-Clubs} river was no threat for Kenney and he doubled, causing further damage to the stack of start-of-the-day chip leader Del Vecchio.

Hand #26: Taylor raised the small blind to 130,000 with the {8-Hearts}{3-Hearts} and Del Vecchio defended the big blind with {K-Clubs}{7-Clubs}. The flop came {10-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}{2-Spades} and both players checked. On the {K-Hearts} turn, Taylor bet 145,000 with his flush draw and picked up a call from Del Vecchio. The {Q-Spades} came on the river and taylor made it 170,000 to go, Del Vecchio called and Taylor immediately announced "I got nothing."

Hand #27: Taylor raised the button with the {K-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds} and Andrew Hinrichsen called with {A-Hearts}{7-Hearts} in the big blind. The flop brought {A-Spades}{7-Spades}{4-Diamonds} and Hinrichsen check-raised from 125,000 with 400,000. After some consideration, Taylor sent his cards into the muck.

Hand #28: Matthew Wakeman folded {2-Hearts}{2-Spades} first to act and Taylor in the cutoff raised to 125,000 with {A-Clubs}{7-Hearts}. That won the blinds and antes, as all opponents sent their cards into the muck.

Hamish Crawshaw Eliminated in 7th Place (AU$242,000)

Level 27 : 30,000/60,000, 10,000 ante
Hamish Crawshaw
Hamish Crawshaw

Hand #23: Andrew Hinrichsen raised to 140,000 on the button and Hamish Crawshaw three-bet the small blind to 575,000. Hinrichsen four-bet shoved and Crawshaw quickly called all in for 2,475,000.

Hamish Crawshaw: {Q-Clubs}{Q-Diamonds}
Andrew Hinrichsen: {A-Spades}{J-Spades}

The {A-Diamonds}{K-Hearts}{3-Hearts} flop improved Hinrichsen to a pair of aces, and the {2-Hearts} turn and {2-Spades} river were blanks to send Crawshaw to the rail in 7th place for AU$242,000.

"Queens vs. Ace-jack, small blind vs. button is a bit of a cooler," Crawshaw said in his post-elimination interview. "It would have been nice to take it down, but sometimes you've just got to get it in and flip for your tournament life with huge amounts of money at stake.

"You can't come in with too much expectation. Sometimes you come in as the chip leader and you're out first, and sometimes you come in as the short stack and win.

"It was a surreal experience. Just happy to get thisfar. Unfortunately, the final table didn't go so well but that's how it is. You've just got to take what's given to you."
