Burns Busts Luong

Level 10 : 600/1,200, 1,200 ante
Simon Burns
Simon Burns

Simon Burns made it 2,600 in the second position and Mai Ha flatted on the button. David Luong raised all in from the big blind and Burns shoved over the top.

"F**k my life," Ha sighed, leaning back in his chair. Then he folded pocket tens.

"I miscounted my stack, I thought I had 20 bigs," Luong said when he observed that his shove was for around 40,000.

Luong trailed with {a-Hearts}{j-Clubs} against {a-Clubs}{k-Diamonds} and the dealer rolled out a flop of {10-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds}{8-Hearts}.

"F**k my life!" Ha sighed again.

The rest of the board ran out {4-Clubs} and {6-Spades} and Burns knocked Luong out of the tournament.

Flynn Flies Through Day 2

Level 10 : 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

The board read {9-Diamonds}{j-Clubs}{6-Spades}{2-Clubs} and Joe Cabret wagered 16,000 from the small blind, getting a call from Gavin Flynn. The river card was the {2-Spades} and Cabret checked to Flynn who announced he was all in. Cabret had just over 40,000 left and he quickly folded. Flynn stacked a decent pot to cross the 300,000-mark.

Deveson Scores Another Knockout

Level 10 : 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

A short stack was all-in for what appeared to be 14,000 and Max Deveson as the biggest stack on his table made the call.

Deveson was flipping with {k-Hearts}{j-Diamonds} versus {9-Hearts}{9-Diamonds} and got there thanks to a board of {j-Clubs}{5-Spades}{2-Diamonds}{6-Hearts}{k-Diamonds}. Shortly after, Deveson also got paid off when he hit a set of sixes and further climbed up the leaderboard.

Lockwood Bests Defending Champion Lewis

Level 10 : 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

Alison Lockwood opened to 2,600 and got calls from Manig Loeser on the button, Toby Lewis in the small blind and Igor Yaroshevskyy in the big blind.

The flop came {a-Hearts}{10-Hearts}{7-Spades} and all four players checked. The turn was the {q-Spades} and Lewis bet 12,000. Yaroshevskyy folded, Lockwood called and Loeser folded.
