No Action With Aces; Trayner Extends His Lead

Dejan Boskovic opeend to 250,000 from under the gun with A♦A♣ and was called by Malcolm Trayner on the button with 3♥3♣ and Patrick Barba in the big blind holding J♥10♥.

The flop came A♦6♠8♦ and it was checked to Boskovic, who continued for 250,000. Both Trayner and Barba laid their hands down and Boskovic picked up the pot.

On the very next hand, Trayner raised to 250,000 from the cutoff with Q♣8♠ and was called by Ricky Vikas on the button with A♦K♣ and Boskovic in the big blind with A♥2♥.

The flop came 8♦6♥2♣ and it was checked to Trayner, who bet 300,000 with his pair of eights. Vikas got out of the way and Boskovic called.

Both players checked on the 5♥ turn and 6♣ river and Trayner was sent the pot.

Malcolm Trayner opened to 250,000 from the hijack with 3♥3♦ and Ricky Vikas called from the cutoff with 7♥6♥.

The J♥2♦K♣ flop was bet out by Trayner for 225,000 and Vikas mucked.

In the next hand Dean Blatt was sitting with A♣Q♥ under the gun and he flicked in a time bank card before moving all in for his remaining 1,475,000. Dejan Boskovic three-bet to 3,000,000 with J♠J♣ and Sheldon Mayer folded 4♠4♥ from the small blind.

Blatt needed to improve to stay alive, and he instantly picked up on the 9♣Q♦2♣ flop.

He secured the double up after seeing the 5♦ turn and 8♠ river and sat back with just over 25 big blinds.

Kanaan Youkhanna opened to 250,00 from the hijack with K♥9♥ and was called by Ricky Vikas in the small blind holding A♦10♠.

Vikas check-called a 250,000 bet from Youkhanna on the Q♦A♥7♦ flop and a 450,000 bet from Youkhanna on the 7♥ turn.

The 7♠ brought trips on board and Vikas checked a final time. Youkhanna put 350,000 into the middle and was quickly looked up by Vikas, who claimed the pot with his boat for a nice pickup.

The Q♦7♠9♠ flop was checked by both to see the A♠ turn. Action was checked again to the 6♠ river and again to showdown. With neither player holding a spade, Trayner showed his jacks and took the pot.

Action folded back around to Trayner, who made it 1,600,000 to go. Vikas postured for a bit and then slid his cards into the muck.

Patrick Barba open-jammed for his remaining 850,000 on the button and action went to Sheldon Mayer in the big blind. Mayer took some time before calling, putting Barba at risk.

Barba was ahead but the sweat was brought in on the 2♣5♥4♦ flop, seeing both pick up a straight draw.

A 9♠ fell on the turn keeping Barba ahead, and the A♦ river locked him the double up.

Malcolm Trayner opened to 250,000 from the cutoff holding Q♥8♠, Ricky Vikas called on the button with 10♠10♣ and Dejan Boskovic defended 7♠5♠ in the big blind.

The Q♣2♠J♥ flop saw action check around to the 10♦ turn and action was checked to Trayner who bet 300,000. Only Vikas called, taking the pair heads up to the 4♦ river.

Trayner bet 225,000 and Vikas raised to 900,000. Trayner took some time, counted out the call from his stack, but moved it back into his stack and folded.

Vikas called a 125,000 bet from Trayner on the 10♣2♣A♥ flop and then both players checked on the 8♦ turn.

Trayner checked a final time on the 8♥ river and Vikas bet 300,000 with his aces-up. Trayner thought a bit and then laid his hand down to award Vikas the pot.

Both players caught a piece on the 2♥5♦3♦ flop and Vikas check-called a 200,000 bet from Boskovic.

Both players checked on the 6♦ turn and Vikas checked a final time after the 4♦ river gave both players a wheel.

Boskovic fired 1,000,000 into the middle and picked up a nice pot after Vikas laid down what would have been a chop.
