Chen Triples; Jia Out in Three Way Clash
Level 22
: Blinds 20,000/40,000, 40,000 ante
Jun Jia shoved for approximately 200,000 on the button and just behind him, the once chip leader Jiaxu Chen shoved for a bit less from the small blind. Jordan Batis called from the big blind to put both players at risk and a three-way showdown was held.
Jiaxu Chen: A♠9♦
Jun Jia: A♦3♥
Jordan Batis: K♥9♠
"I've got both players dominated!" Chen exclaimed after seeing all hands.
The 9♣7♣6♦4♦8♠ runout brought no shenanigans and Chen was awarded the triple up while Batis was awarded the side pot along with Jia's bounty after pairing his nine with a covering stack.
