Mousapour Lightens the Field With a Boat

Mehrdad Mousapour opened to 16,500 from the hijack and called a three-bet of 16,500 from his opponent in the big blind.

Mousapour then proceeded to call bets from his opponent on every street. First for 17,000 on the A♠K♣J♠ flop, then for 51,500 on the 9♣ turn, and finally for 169,000, which was the rest of his opponent's chips, on the A♥ river after a lengthy tank.

The big blind showed 8♦8♥ for a bluff and Mousapour revealed A♦J♦ for aces-full of jacks to claim the knockout and nearly double his chip stack.
