Murphy Meets His End

Daniel Murphy was already all in from under the gun on a flop of 8♣10♦7♦ against Thijs Hilberts in the hijack and Jian Ting Cai on the button.

Hilberts and Cai checked down on the flop, the A♣ turn, and the 6♥ river and Murphy claimed he hadn't looked yet.

Hilberts revealed Q♣Q♥, which got a muck from Cai. Murphy then turned over the 8♦ first.

"Eight or a nine!" Murphy shouted before revealing the 2♠ — leaving Murphy second best with a pair of eights to be elimianted.
