John Perry
John Perry

John Perry opened to 10,000 from the hijack called a three-bet of 30,000 from his opponent in the cutoff.

Perry check-called a 13,500 bet from his opponent on the 5KQ flop and a 50,000 bet from his opponent on the 10.

Both players checked down on the 10 river and Perry revealed AJ for a turned straight. His opponent quickly flung his cards into the muck and Perry was sent the pot.

Ong Doubles After Waking up With Kings

Level 7 : Blinds 2,500/5,000, 5,000 ante

A player in middle position raised to 10,000 and was three-bet to 35,000 by the player in the cutoff. Nathan Ong then cold four-bet to 75,000, which got a fold from the initial raiser and a call from the cutoff for a bloated heads-up pot.

The cutoff checked to Ong, who continued for 36,000 on the 369 flop. His opponent responded by shoving and Ong quickly called all in for 157,000 total.

Nathan Ong: KK
Cutoff: QQ

It was a clash between two premiums, with Ong holding a commanding lead with his Cowboys.

The J turn nor 3 river changed anything and Ong was awarded a massive double up.

Wade's Check-Raise Wins Him a Pot

Level 7 : Blinds 2,500/5,000, 5,000 ante
Tristan Wade
Tristan Wade

Tristan Wade opened to 11,000 from early position and was called by the player on the button and the player in the big blind.

Action checked to the button the 2J7 flop and he bet 12,000. The big blind called, but Wade then cut out a check-raise to 45,000 and placed it into the middle.

Neither player wanted anything to do with it and let their hands go — awarding the pot to Wade without resistance.

Wade is coming off a deep run in the $1,500 Mystery Bounty event, wherein he finished 19th, and currently sits with about 335,000.

Guillen Dishes Out 'Death by Quads'

Level 6 : Blinds 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante
Angel Guillen
Angel Guillen

The player in the hijack had already shoved for his last 58,000 and was called by Angel Guillen in the cutoff with a covering stack.

Hijack: 76All in
Angel Guillen: A10

Guillen's opponent's cards were live, but the 21010 flop improved Guillen to trips for a near insurmountable lead.

The 10 turn further improved Guillen to quad tens to leave his opponent drawing dead and the 3 river made Guillen's knockout blow official.

Guillen's stack now sits at about 800,000 just before dinner break.
