2008 Aussie Millions

Now that we're down to heads-up, the betting will be no-limit both before and after the flop.

The winner of this event will collect $1.25 million. That will be the second largest prize ever in the history of the Aussie Millions. Last year's main event winner, Gus Hansen, took home $1.5 million for first place.

Second place in this event will win $650,000. Essentially this is a $550,000 heads-up match with Howard Lederer holding more than a 2 to 1 chiplead.

We're down to heads-up play between Howard Lederer and Mark Teltscher. Here's how their chip stacks stand:

The board runs out and Sampoerna is eliminated. He'll collect $350,000 for his 3rd place finish.

Howard Lederer has the button in Seat 3. He raises to 100,000, Mark Teltscher moves all in for 380,000 from the small blind, Lederer flashes J-T and folds. Teltscher shows 8-8 and wins the pot.

Andy Black and Steve Z are on the rail sweating Howard Lederer. Michael Tomeny was sweating Michael Sampoerna.
