Zhang Bounces Brahim

Level 7 : Blinds 1,000/1,500, 1,500 ante

Michael Brahim opened to 3,000 from under the gun and was called by Andy Pham in middle position. George Zhang then three-bet to 13,000 in the big blind, with both opponents coming along.

Zhang led out on the J86 flop for 13,000 before Brahim raised to 28,000. Pham folded, while Zhang took some time before moving all in. Brahim called with his smaller stack and the cards were turned up.

Michael Brahim: KJ All in
George Zhang: AJ

Brahim was trailing and could not catch up on the 92 runout to hit the rail.

Etaat Begins Building

Level 7 : Blinds 1,000/1,500, 1,500 ante

Jacque Ramsden opened to 3,000 in middle position and was called by Javad Etaat in the cutoff. Aaron Dall'acqua also called in the big blind, and the dealer revealed the 35Q flop.

Action checked to Etaat, who fired 5,000. Dall'acqua called, while Ramsden folded. Both players then checked the 6 turn.

Dall'acqua and Etaat again chose not to commit chips on the 9 river, with Dall'acqua turning over 64 for a pair of sixes. Etaat showed A6 for the same pair with an ace kicker to take the pot.

Charles Tran limped in early position before Toby Giles raised to 4,600 in the hijack. Olaf Breuer promptly three-bet to 20,000, with Tran quickly folding.

Giles took a moment before committing the rest of his short stack, and was at risk heads up.

Toby Giles: 77 All in
Olaf Breuer: 55

Giles held through the KQ939 runout, winning with his pocket sevens to double through Breuer.

Continuation Bet From Lee

Level 6 : Blinds 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

Panjak Gogia limped in early position before Alex Lee raised to 4,000 on the button. George Kanan called in the big blind, as did Gogia to see the AJ2 flop.

Kanan and Gogia checked over to Lee, who continued for 5,500. That was enough to produce two folds, as Lee raked in the pot.
