The tournament clock shows 32 players remaining as they head on a 30-minute dinner break.
When players return, the blinds will be 10,000/20,000. The average currently sits at 858,000 chips.
David Sebesfi raised to 45,000 from under the gun, leaving himself 1,000 behind. Jarod Cunningham just called in the big blind.
"I'll take a random big blind range," said Sebesfi as the flop came 8♣6♥3♦. Cunningham slid out the 1,000 chip that put Sebesfi all in.
Sebesfi tanked with his hands over his face. Eventually the clock was called, with Sebesfi given only five seconds owing to the fact that he was virtually all in. He flicked his chip in and was all in.
David Sebesfi: K♣9♥
Jarod Cunningham: K♦3♥
"You lucky..." said Sebesfi, but his annoyance turned to joy as the 9♠ came on the turn. The river was the 6♠ and he survived but was still short with less than ten big blinds approaching the break.
Cards were on their backs between Victor Dai and Noman Mirza, with Dai at risk for his last 374,000.
Victor Dai: A♣K♣
Noman Mirza: Q♣Q♠
The flop came Q♦9♣2♣ giving both players a piece — Mirza top set and Dai the nut flush draw. The river K♠ was no use but the river 4♣ completed his flush to stay alive.
Jarrod Cunningham opened to 30,000 and called a shove from David Sebesfi for his last 300,000.
Jarrod Cunningham: A♠J♥
David Sebesfi: K♥J♣
The board came 9♠7♦4♥9♥3♠ with Cunningham doubling and Sebesfi left with just over one big blind.
Blind on blind, Didier Guerin raised leaving himself around 20,000 behind. Nikhil Autar shoved.
"I think it's going in," said Guerin before moving all in.
Didier Guerin: A♦3♦
Nikhil Autar: K♣J♥
The A♣4♦2♣J♠7♦ wasn't scary for Guerin who was ahead all the way, doubling up but remaining with less than half average midway through Level 17.
Sayed Jabbour opened to 35,000 and called a three-bet from Martin Finger for 115,000.
The flop came Q♦J♦5♥ and Jabbour checked. Finger continued for 75,000 and Jabbour check-raised to 225,000.
Finger called and the pair checked the J♠ turn. The river was the 7♦ and Jabbour shoved, putting Finger all in.
Finger tank-folded and was left with around half average stack.
