Murray's Bluff Gets Picked Off

Level 16 : Blinds 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante

The pot already had around 300,000 in it on a board of A44103 when the action was on Liam Murray, who fired out a bet of 200,000.

Kieran Dyson was the man facing the bet and after some time thinking it over, he flicked in the call.

Murray then revealed a bluff with the nut flush blocker holding KJ, and Dyson's A9 was good for the pot.

Mohajerami Flops the Nuts, Cassell Takes the Side Pot

Level 17 : Blinds 10,000/15,000, 15,000 ante
Jennifer Cassell
Jennifer Cassell

Jennifer Cassell opened from middle position and got a call from Farhad Mohajerami on the button and the player in the big blind.

The flop came 867 and all hell broke loose as the big blind led for 50,000 and Cassell made it 140,000. Mohajerami then shoved for 244,000, the big blind called, and Cassell also came along.

With a dry side pot, both active players checked the 4 turn to the Q river, where the big blind fired 150,000. Cassell mulled it over for just a few seconds before she dropped in a call.

Mohajerami then revealed he had flopped the joint with 109, the big blind showed 87 for two pair, and Cassell revealed 88 for a flopped set.

Ma and Ghezelbash Take a Flip

Level 17 : Blinds 10,000/15,000, 15,000 ante

Shengfeng Ma opened to 30,000 from early position and got a call from the cutoff before Ali Ghezelbash shoved from the big blind for 145,000. Ma then reshoved, with a covering stack, and the cutoff pondered for a few moments before folding.

Shengfeng Ma: 66

It was a fair fight and Ma kept the lead after the 937 flop, but Ghezelbash added a lot more outs on the 2 turn when he picked up a flush draw. That flush completed on the Q river, and Ghezelbash doubled up, evening out the stacks with Ma.

Dyson Gets the Better of Murray Again

Level 17 : Blinds 10,000/15,000, 15,000 ante
Liam Murray
Liam Murray

Liam Murray and Kieran Dyson just clashed again with the latter getting the better of his opponent once again in the PPC.

Initially, Reece Bedot opened to 30,000 from early position and Murray three-bet from the hijack to 80,000. Dyson cold-called out of the small blind and Bedot also put in the extra chips.

It checked to Murray on the 794 flop, where he continued for 40,000. Dyson called and Bedot got out of the way. The 2 dropped on the turn and both players checked.

When the K landed on the river, Dyson elected to lead out for 200,000, sending Murray into the tank.

"How come that much, that's heaps," said Murray as he continued to think it over. Eventually, Murray decided to fold, and Dyson raked in the pot.

A full board of K252Q was already showing and with around 250,000 in the pot, Toby Joyce shoved for almost 300,000. Justin Woo had the decision and was in the tank for some time before he eventually decided to call.

Joyce then flipped the rockets with AA, and Woo flashed Kx8x before it went into the bin.
