Mai Shows Kings

Level 21 : Blinds 20,000/40,000, 40,000 ante

Van Mai just added a chunk of chips to his stack at the expenses of Ehsan Amiri.

There were already around 1,000,000 chips in the pot on 6QQ flop when Amiri checked from the small blind and Mai shipped from under the gun for around a pot-sized bet. Amiri didn't need long to throw his cards away, and Mai was kind enough to show KK.

Luo Forces Sim Out

Level 21 : Blinds 20,000/40,000, 40,000 ante

Shayne Sim opened the hijack to 100,000 and Louis Luo called from the cutoff. Daniel Klinger was in the small blind and also called.

All three saw the QA5 flop where it got to Sim, who fired out 75,000. Luo called and Klinger folded.

A 4 dropped on the turn and Sim slowed down with a check, then Luo bet 200,000. Sim let it go.

Gumz Takes An Aggressive Line

Level 22 : Blinds 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante

JP Rounce-Sue opened from the hijack and Fabian Gumz defended from the big blind to see the 74A flop, where Gumz checked and Rounce-Sue fired 55,000. Gumz then check-raised to 140,000, and Rounce-Sue called.

A 4 hot the turn and again Gumz kept up the aggression with a bet of 165,000, which Rounce-Sue called to watch the 10 complete the board. Gumz took some time before he fired 510,000, leaving himself just 5,000 behind. Rounce-Sue didn't need to think for too long before he folded, and Gumz took the pot.

Cassell Collects the Last of Joyce's Stack

Level 22 : Blinds 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante

Toby Joyce had his short stack in the middle and was put at risk by Jennifer Cassell.

Toby Joyce: AJ All in
Jennifer Cassell: AQ

Joyce was dominated and his situation went from bad to worse on the Q83 flop as Cassell made top pair. A K on the turn did give him a Broadway draw, but the 6 river bricked off, ending Joyce's run.
