Mclean Shows Fitzsimmons the Goods

Level 4 : Blinds 400/800, 800 ante

Heads-up on a completed board of 109Q83 with several thousand already in the middle, Cameron Fitzsimmons checked from the big blind and Troy Mclean wagered 13,500 from the cutoff.

Fitzsimmons tanked for quite some time, but eventually announced a call, prompting Mclean to table A6 for the nut flush to claim the pot.

Fitzsimmons Leaves Ogilvy Short

Level 4 : Blinds 400/800, 800 ante

Action folded around to the blinds, where Cameron Fitzsimmons called from the small blind and Gavin Ogilvy checked his option in the big blind.

Ogilvy then proceeded to call bets from Fitzsimmons on every street. First for 800 on the K9J flop, then for 3,000 on the 7 turn, and finally for 7,300 on the 9 river.

Fitzsimmons turned over 97 for a full house, which got a quick muck from Ogilvy.

"It just got better and better!" Fitzsimmons said as he collected the pot.

Dong Out; Dong In

Level 4 : Blinds 400/800, 800 ante
Nelson Dong
Nelson Dong

Robert Sabados was seen collecting the rest of Nelson Dong's chips with queen-jack against Dong's ace-ten on a queen-high runout.

Dong immediately re-entered and wasted little time getting back in action.

At Dong's new table, Ryan Hall opened to 1,900 first to act and was called by Dylan Rands in the small blind and Dong in the big blind.

Action checked to Hall on the K72 flop and he continued for 4,000, which got a fold from Rands and a call from Dong.

Both players checked on the 2 turn, but Dong led out for 8,000 after the 5 completed the board.

Hall didn't take long to look Dong up and Dong tabled Q3 for a flush. Hall sent his hand into the muck, giving Dong a good start with his fresh stack.

Klinger Gets a Tough Fold From Issa

Level 3 : Blinds 300/600, 600 ante
Daniel Klinger
Daniel Klinger

Daniel Klinger opened to 1200 from middle position and was three-bet to 3,600 by Moussa Issa in the cutoff. Action folded back around to Klinger, who called.

Both players checked on the A106 flop and Klinger took over the betting lead with a 4,000 bet on the 9 turn. Issa called.

Klinger sized up for a hefty 18,000 bet after the K fell on the river — sending Issa deep into the tank.

Eventually, the clock was called and it was ruled Issa would have 30 seconds to act. Issa received a verbal count from five seconds down to zero and his hand was declared dead to award Klinger the sizable pot.
