Marsland Keeps His Foot on the Gas

Level 6 : Blinds 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

Dale Marsland opened from middle position and was three-bet to 6,000 by Mark Staples in the hijack. The action folded back around to Marsland, who made it 15,000 to go. Staples called.

Staples called a 12,000 bet from Marsland on the 375 flop, but folded AJ face up facing a 21,000 bet from Marsland on the 10 turn to leave himself with about a starting stack.

Liao's Tens are Best

Level 6 : Blinds 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

Marc Seymour opened to 2,500 from the cutoff and was three-bet to 6,500 by Xinxin Liao on the button. It was folded back around to Seymour, who called.

Seymour check-called a 4,500 bet from Liao on the AJ2 flop and then both players checked down on the Q turn and 4 river.

"I have a two," Seymour said as he revealed the 2. Liao tabled 1010 in response and Seymour mucked.

Kilany Keeps Climbing

Level 6 : Blinds 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

Kareem Kilany opened to 3,000 from early position and was called by Steve Gergis on the button.

Both players checked on the A54 flop and then Gergis called a 4,000 bet from Kilany on the 2 turn.

The J completed the board and Kilany checked to Gergis, who put a bet of 8,000 into the middle. Kilany almost beat Gergis into the pot with a call and turned over A5 for aces-up.

Gergis sent his hand into the muck and Kilany collected the pot.

Zhu Folds to Ajez's Pressure

Level 5 : Blinds 500/1,000, 1,000 ante

Wei Zhu opened to 2,200 from the cutoff and was three-bet to 6,800 by Najeem Ajez in the small blind. Zhu called.

Zhu proceeded to call a 5,500 bet from Ajez on the 32Q flop and an 8,000 bet from Ajez on the 4 turn.

However, Ajez sized up for a hefty 33,500 bet on the K river — sending Zhu deep into the tank.

Zhu eventually landed on a fold and said, "Show the bluff!"

"Pay to see," Ajez replied with a grin as he collected the pot.
