Lima Pays Dailey

Level 20 : 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante

Three players saw a {4-Diamonds}{4-Spades}{2-Diamonds} flop for the minimum and Ben Craig bet 17,000 from the big blind. Both Pete Dailey on the button and small blind Viny Lima continued to the {3-Diamonds}. Lima bet 16,000 on that card and only Dailey continued to the {7-Hearts}. Lima quickly checked. Dailey bet 75,000.

Lima's eyes went wide but he called after about 15 seconds. However, he couldn't beat {7-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds} for a flush.

Terry Fleischer Eliminated in 5th Place ($5,196)

Level 19 : 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante
Terry Fleischer
Terry Fleischer

The hand after he busted Mike Shin, Terry Fleischer got it in preflop with {a-}{j-} from the button but was crushed by the {a-Clubs}{a-Spades} of small blind Lewis Robledo. The board didn't save Fleischer and he bowed out in fifth.

Mike Shin Eliminated in 6th Place ($3,954)

Level 19 : 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante
Mike Shin
Mike Shin

For the second straight hand, Mike Shin shoved all in. This time, small blind Terry Fleischer called him with {a-Diamonds}{k-Spades}.

Shin was dominated with {a-Clubs}{10-Hearts} and couldn't find a chop or a win on the {4-Spades}{4-Clubs}{7-Spades}{3-Spades}{8-Clubs} runout.

Craig Doubles Through Lima

Level 19 : 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante

Viny Lima opened for 16,000 on the button. Ben Craig shoved for 207,000 in the next seat and Lima called fairly quickly with {5-Hearts}{5-Clubs}. Craig showed {a-Spades}{8-Clubs} and the window {8-Spades} was perfect for him, followed by {8-Hearts}{6-Spades}{q-Clubs}{k-Hearts} to keep his hand best.

Daniel Sepiol Eliminated in 7th Place ($3,178)

Level 19 : 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante
Daniel Sepiol
Daniel Sepiol

Viny Lima bet 25,000 into about 40,000 from second position on {2-Hearts}{q-Spades}{j-Hearts}, only for Daniel Sepiol to fire in a check-raise to 100,000 out of the small blind. Lima called and they took in an {8-Clubs} turn. Sepiol immediately jammed for 230,000. After about a minute in the tank, Lima called.

Lima: {k-Diamonds}{q-Hearts}
Sepiol: {k-Hearts}{10-Hearts}

Sepiol had a monster draw. He improved on the river but it was a {10-Diamonds}, not enough to overtake the queens he was against.

Lima Wins Three-Bet Pot

Level 18 : 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante

Viny Lima opened on the button and called a three-bet to 46,000 from big blind Terry Fleischer. Fleischer continued small for 25,000 on {10-Diamonds}{k-Hearts}{4-Clubs} and Lima called. On the {9-Clubs} turn, Fleischer quickly checked and folded to 50,000.

Dailey Doubles into Huge Lead

Level 18 : 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante
Pete Dailey
Pete Dailey

Two players checked to Pete Dailey in the cutoff on {9-Clubs}{10-Clubs}{8-Hearts} and he bet 35,000, not too much less than the pot. Big blind Lewis Robledo made it 90,000 to go, chasing the third player, and Dailey went deep in the tank before pushing all in for 467,000.

"I gotta call," Robledo said, standing up and tabling {10-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}.

It was no good as Dailey held {j-Spades}{7-Spades} for the straight. The {q-Diamonds} and {2-Diamonds} were clean for him and he celebrated his monster double.
