The board ran out with a queen and no help for the others two to give Welsh a big pot that moves her well above the starting stack.
Welsh is from Austin, Texas and she is the lone representative of the Kontender's Poker Club. She was recently diagnosed with terminal cancer and her brother offered to take her on a trip anywhere she'd like, so Welsh chose Bar Poker Open and they're both spending the weekend at Palm Beach Kennel Club. This is her fourth BPO event.
