Break Time to Prepare for Final Table

The final nine players are on an extended break to do interviews as preparation for the final table is underway.

They will return at 6 p.m. ET to play down to a winner, continuing on with 8:26 remaining in Level 25 and blinds of 25,000 / 50,000 with a 50,000 big blind ante.

Nick Sims Eliminated in 10th Place ($1,100)

Level 23 : Blinds 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante

Nick Sims moved all in from under the gun for 330,000, as did Miguel Medrano in the big blind for a very similar stack.

The flop came J♣J♠8♣ instantly bringing trips to Medrano. The 10♣ on the turn gave Sims some hope with a gutshot straight draw, but the 8♠ on the river filled up Medrano.

After the chips were counted up, Sims was left with just 5,000 chips.

He spun it up to 50,000, but then shoved his K♠7♥ under the gun into Ian Auvil's K♥K♦, and after a J♣6♦2♦3♣8♦ runout, last year's third-place finisher was eliminated in 10th place.

Paul Chamberlain raised to 250,000 on the button and Andrew Ferguson moved all in for about 600,000. Chamberlain called.

Chamberlain was in dominant shape, especially after the A♥Q♥7♥ flop. The turn gave Ferguson a set with the 5♥, but it also gave Chamberlain a flush.

Ferguson asked for the dealer to pair the board, but the 9♣ was unaccommodating, leaving the field with just ten players.

Charles Gudaitis moved all in from the cutoff for 505,000 and was snap-called by Chris Davis on the button. Ronald Kaepernick thought briefly in the big blind but folded.
