Ethan Bennett raised to 300 from middle position and Ryan Depaulo called from the next seat over before Karen Kramer came along from the button and Carl Pipitone called from the small blind.
The flop was 9♥K♣9♦ and action checked to Kramer for a bet of 1,000. Pipitone called and Bennett raised to 4,000. That forced Depaulo out of the way and Kramer wasn't far behind. Pipitone gave it a moment of thought but it was too much for him and the pot went to Bennett.
A player in middle position limped in and Garry Gates raised to 500. Diego Uez called from the cutoff and Ashley "Pokerface Ash" Frank came along from the button. The blinds got out of the way and the player in middle position called to make it a four-way pot.
The flop was 4♣10♥4♦ and action checked to Uez for a bet of 1,000. Frank called and both Gates and the player in middle position folded.
Both players checked the 2♣ turn and the river was Q♥. Uez bet 1,600 and turned over J♣10♣ when Frank called. Frank tossed the losing hand in the muck and Uez took the pot.
Joey Ingram raised to 300 from the button and Shawn Grigus called from the small blind before Curtis King came along from the big blind.
The flop was 2♦10♣A♥ and King led out for 800. Ingram called quickly (Grigus folded) and the turn was 2♠. King continued for 1,300 and Ingram called.
The river was J♦ and King slowed down with a check. Ingram fired 4,000 and that was enough to force the fold and take the pot.

Ryan Depaulo raised to 300 from the cutoff and Karen Kramer called from the button before Carl Pipitone called from the small blind. The big blind got out of the way and action was three ways.
The flop was 10♥10♦9♦ and Pipitone checked before Depaulo bet 600. Both Kramer and Pipitone tossed it in the muck and Depaulo took the pot.
On the next hand, Depaulo raised to 300 again and Thomas Monaco was the lone caller from the big blind. The flop was 10♣4♦6♠ and Monaco check-called a 400 bet from Depaulo to see 9♠ on the turn. Monaco checked again and then folded when Depaulo bet 1,600.
It's also an early morning for Chicago Joey Ingram, as he had petitioned unsuccessfully for a later start.
