Ron Scott picked up the Q♠Q♥ on the button and raised to 200,000. Jordan Fishman called from the small blind with the K♦10♦ and Steven Tabb came along from the big with the 6♣4♣.
All three players checked the 7♠A♥9♠ flop and the 8♣ appeared on the turn. Both blinds checked and Scott bet 200,000. Fishman called with his open-ended straight draw and Tabb got out of the way.
The J♣ river delivered the straight to Fishman and he led out for 400,000. Scott reacted by moving all in for 1,045,000 and discovered the bad news after Fishman called.
Just like that, Scott was ousted in third place and left Fishman to battle heads-up against Tabb.
Ron Scott raised to 175,000 on the button with the A♦2♥ and Jordan Fishman just called with the 4♦4♣ in the small blind. Steven Tabb called from the big blind with the Q♦8♥ and it was three-way action to a flop of Q♠3♥2♠, which checked around.
When the Q♥ paired the board on the turn, Fishman bet 175,000 and Tabb just called with his trip queens. Scott came along with two pair and the 10♠ completed the board on the river.
All three players returned to checking and Tabb took down the pot.
Dennis O'Hare raised to 180,000 from the small blind and Steven Tabb jammed all in from the big blind. O'Hare had the shorter stack and called off for 1,125,000 total.
Dennis O'Hare: K♣Q♦
Steven Tabb: J♠J♣
It was a flip and O'Hare was looking to improve to stay alive. Unfortunately for him, that proved easier said than done as the board ran out a lowly 10♥5♠8♠3♦8♦ to end his run in fourth place, good for $10,500.
Steven Tabb raised to 125,000 with the Q♠10♣ on the button and Ron Scott called out of the small blind with the A♣4♣. Jordan Fishman came along from the big with the J♦10♦ and it was three-way action to the flop of 3♥10♥7♦.
Scott checked, Fishman bet 250,000 with top pair, and Tabb called with top pair and the better kicker. Scott got out of the way and the dealer burned and turned the J♠. Fishman paired his kicker to make two pair and wasted little time in betting 500,000.
Tabb thought long and hard but eventually folded his hand.
Steven Tabb raised to 125,000 under the gun with the 9♣5♣ and Jordan Fishman three-bet to 280,000 with the A♥9♦ in the small blind. Tabb opted to call and it looked like fireworks were in store when the flop came down 9♥8♣8♥.
Fishman, who had nines and eights with the best kicker, bet 250,000 and Tabb called to see the J♥ turn.
Fishman checked and then called when Tabb bet 215,000. When the 4♦ completed the board on the river, action went check-check and Fishman pulled in a 1.61 million pot.
