Jordan Fishman raised to 125,000 from the button and Adam Johnson defended the big blind to see a flop of 7♦7♠2♠.
Johnson checked, Fishman bet 175,000, and the former check-raised all in for 860,000. Fishman gave it some thought before dropping in a call.
Adam Johnson: K♠9♠
Jordan Fishman: A♦K♦
Fishman was ahead with Big Slick but Johnson was drawing to a spade flush draw. The 4♥ turn was of no consequence and neither was the 6♦ river. Johnson missed his draw and was sent out the door in fifth place.
Adam Johnson raised to 100,000 holding the 7♥6♥ in the cutoff only to have two-time WSOP Circuit ring winner Justin Carey three-bet jam for 515,000 from the small blind. Ron Scott then moved all in over the top and Johnson got out of the way.
Justin Carey: A♣9♠
Ron Scott: J♥J♦
Carey was in need of some help but it never came as the board ran out 10♠10♦3♠8♦3♥ to end his run in sixth place.

Steven Tabb moved all in for 580,000 from the small blind and Justin Carey thought for a bit before calling from the small blind.
Steven Tabb: Q♦7♦
Justin Carey: K♣9♠
Tabb was in need of some help and got it when the 6♦Q♣2♣ flop paired his queen. The 10♦ turn gave Carey a gutshot draw, and while he hit it on the J♦ river, it was no good as Tabb improved to a diamond flush to score a double.
