Swift Slows Down Edmonds' Rise

Slade Edmonds opened to 13,000 in middle position before Maria Swift moved all in for 42,500. Action folded back around to Edmonds, who took some time before making the call.

Maria Swift: KQ All in
Slade Edmonds: 98

Both players picked up straight draws on the J310 flop, with Swift remaining ahead through the 6 turn. The dealer completed the board with the K river, giving Swift top pair to earn the double.

Mercier Doubles with Aces

Suzanne Mercier moved all in for 125,000 and was quickly called on her immediate left. After the rest of the table folded, both players counted out the exact same stack and the cards were tabled.

"You Can Afford to Lose One"

Nick Pacheco
Nick Pacheco

After a middle position open to 36,000, Nick Pacheco moved all for his last 65,000 chips. Lisa Bowman then shoved her larger stack, forcing a fold from the initial raiser.

Lisa Bowman: AK

"You can afford to lose one," Pacheco said referring to his opponent's table-leading stack as Bowman took the lead on the 27A flop.

Pacheco answered back by hitting the J turn, and the 9 river was a blank to cement his double up.

Mildenberg Asks For it All

Les Mildenberg opened to 35,000 in the cutoff and Hank Russell defended his big blind.

The 373 flop was fanned out on the table and Russell led out for 40,000. Mildenberg did not take long to move all in.

After taking some time, Russell let it go and Mildenberg raked in the pot.

Russell then got some of those chips back shortly after by scoring a knockout with AA.
