2026 Battle of Malta Summer Edition
While Daniele Renzi was eliminating Dimitrios Stampoultzis to reach the 11,000,000-chip mark, Fredrick Bratein opened from the button to 150,000 and faced Daniel Yerin who defended from the big blind.
Both players quickly checked the 5♥8♣2♠ flop leading to the A♥ turn that Yerin checked again. Britain bet 150,000 and Yerin called.
The 6♦ river didn't bring more action so Yerin revealed his pair with 5♠4♣. It was good enough to take the pot as Bratein mucked his cards.
Tomas Major raised from early position but Arnaud Boudet in the small blind three-bet. Sebastian Mortensen in the big blind called, and Major completed.
Boudet made a continuation bet on a flop of J♥5♣2♥ and was called by Major, then both players checked the 9♦ turn.
The 3♦ landed on the river and Boudet moved all-in for 970,000. Major went deep into the tank and eventually made the call with A♦2♦, but ran into Boudet's straight with A♠4♦ which allowed him to double up.
Arnaud Boudet, who previously doubled through Florence Mazet, defended from the big blind after she raised from the cutoff.
The flop of K♥7♦J♣ was checked by both players, but Boudet led out for 125,000 on the 8♣ turn. Mazet quickly called.
Boudet continued for 275,000 on the 3♣ river and made Mazet fold.

Ante: 80,000
Angelo Censabella raised to 150,000 from early position and saw Panteleimon Pontos in the hijack move all-in for 955,000. Robert Baker called off his last 710,000 and Censabella folded.
Robert Baker: K♦K♥
Panteleimon Pontos: J♠J♥
Baker’s friends started to cheer before seeing the board, so they didn’t realize that Pontos had hit a full house on 7♣J♣Q♦5♠5♣ to take the pot and eliminate Baker.
Heads-up on a flop of J♦9♣2♣, Marian Ciupeiu in the hijack bet 160,000 but Daniele Renzi in the big blind check-raised to 450,000. Ciupeiu called.
Renzi barely waited the dealer to revealed the 5♣ turn to go all-in. Ciupeiu with 740,000 behind went deep into the tank but folded.
Carina Voncken moved all-in from under the gun 175,000 and was called by Angelo Censabella in middle position.
Carina Voncken: A♠8♠
Angelo Censabella: Q♠Q♥
The dealer fanned a board of 9♠4♥9♦3♣10♣ and she was eliminated.
