The action was picked up after Alejandro Asenjo in the big blind and Florence Mazet under the gun checked a flop of 7♣8♣7♥. Konstantinos Asgoudakis in the hijack bet 225,000 and both Asenjo and Mazet called.
All three of them checked the 5♠ turn leading to the K♦ river that Asenjo checked. Mazet bet 350,000 and Asgoudakis went into the tank. He folded, and so did Asenjo.
Both Asgoudakis and Asenjo questioned Mazet about her hand, but she didn’t reveal any additional information.

The winner of the pot would be the new chipleader, and thanks to a queen on the flop, Renzi cracked kings to claim this title and eliminate Holmgren.
