Robinson Gets a Shove Through

Level 4 : 200/300, 300 ante

Action was four-handed with nearly 10,000 in the pot and {9-Diamonds}{2-Hearts}{5-Clubs} on the board. All four players checked and the turn was {6-Diamonds}.

A player in early position checked and another runner bet 2,000 from the next seat over in middle position. Greg Robinson immediately shoved his last 15,300 into the middle and two players folded before the middle position player went into the tank.

"The way my luck has been...," Robinson's opponent said before he turned over {a-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds} and tossed it in the muck to give up the pot.

James Roberts raised to 1,400 from under the gun and Kelley Slay made it 4,500 from the next seat over. Action folded back to Roberts, who has been on a tear in the last levels.

Slay recently picked up two knockouts after being mentioned in the PokerNews updates.

"[PokerNews] is my good luck charm," Slay said.

Roberts nodded and tossed his cards into the muck to give up the pot. Both players have been chipping up, but Roberts is above 100,000 and among the leaders at the top of the tally.

Lindner-Like Leaves Caruso Short

Level 3 : Blinds 100/200, 200 ante

Bill Cavanaugh limped in from the cutoff and Rebecca Lindner-Like raised to 800 from the button. Vincent Caruso called from the big blind and action was three-handed.

The turn was {5-Spades} and it checked to Lindner-Like again. She bet 2,000 and Caruso called while Cavanaugh got out of the way. The river was {q-Diamonds}.
