The under-the-gun player opened to 600 and Darren Elias and BetMGM Poker qualifier David Carapella respectively called from the hijack and button. The small blind then three-bet to 3,000 and all three of his opponents called.

The small blind checked on the flop of {j-Spades}{2-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds} and all three players checked behind. The small blind checked again on the {6-Clubs} turn and the under-the-gun player bet 3,000. Only Carapella called.

The {6-Spades} river checked through and Carapella tabled {j-Hearts}{9-Hearts} to take down the pot with jacks and sixes.

The big blind slowed down and checked the {q-Diamonds} river. Hagerty fired for 6,500 and was called after his opponent mulled over his options.

Hagerty rolled over his {a-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds} for flopped trips and scooped the pot after his opponent mucked.

There was a big pot brewing in one of the opening hands of the day, there was already 14,000 in the pot on the {5-Clubs}{10-Hearts}{10-Clubs}{2-Clubs}{5-Diamonds} completed board.

The small blind opted to check before Daniel Sewnig bet 9,000 from under the gun.

"That's the worst card for me and that's also a lot of big blinds," commented the small blind.

He toyed with cards before folding, allowing Sewnig to scoop in the early pot.
