Katayon Khaterzai opened to 900 from early position, before Jack Kwon, sat to her left, made it 3,500 to go. Action folded back to Khaterzai, who called.
She then check-called bets of 1,500 and 3,500 on the flop and turn, bringing both players to the river, with a board reading Q♥Q♦7♥2♠A♥.
Khaterzai then checked for a third time, and Kwon fired a third barrel, this time choosing 7,000 as his size. Khaterzai let her hand go.

Action was picked up on a flop of 10♦J♠5♦. Big blind Anthony Piacquadio checked to early position opener Matthew Costanzo, who bet out for 1,300. Joe McKeehen called on his left, as did Piacquadio.
The turn brought in the 2♣. Costanzo carried on for 3,800 when checked to, and both of his opponents quickly folded.
Piacquadio has since busted. On another table, Michael Wang busted before re-entering.

Only one woman played this year's $50,000 Poker Players Championship at the 2026 World Series of Poker (WSOP), longtime American pro Esther Taylor. Taylor, who recently signed on as BetMGM Poker ambassador, is on a mission to change that by getting more women into mixed games.
Taylor has launched Her Edge Academy, a poker training program aimed specifically at helping women break through in poker. Taylor, who has $3.3 million in live tournament earnings and last year became the second woman ever to final table the PPC, told PokerNews she has always been passionate about coaching and mentoring women and girls, whether it's coaching her daughter's softball team or helping one of her old teams from high school.

The players checked to the river, leaving the board to read 8♠10♦9♣Q♦Q♠. At this point, Nicoli led out for 2,000, only to see a snap-raise to 7,000 from his opponent. He mulled it over for quite a while, before opting on a call. Monosson showed A♣J♦ for the winner.

Katayon Khaterzai opened to 700 under the gun. Two doors down, Boris Kravets put in a call, before Yuriy Kudrynskyy three-bet to 3,700 on the button.
Khaterzai then four-bet to 8,700. Kravets quickly got out of the way, but Kudrynskyy wasn't so speedy. Eventually, he let his cards go.
At another table, BetMGM ambassador Darren Elias took his seat, and Michael Niceta busted.
